CEMTAC Cements felicitated its brand ambassador and MMA athlete Owais Yaqoob for his recent international victory in Bulgaria during a special felicitation ceremony held at Golden Tulip, Srinagar.
The event was attended by CEMTAC’s leading distributors and retailers, along with members of the company’s team. The gathering celebrated Owais’ achievement while highlighting the importance of supporting emerging sporting talent from Jammu & Kashmir.
Supporting the Next Generation of MMA Athletes
As part of its continued support for Owais’ sporting journey, CEMTAC presented a contribution of ₹50,000 to Team Owais Yaqoob, the MMA training academy where young athletes are trained and prepared for competitive mixed martial arts.

Speaking on the occasion, Owais Yaqoob expressed his gratitude to CEMTAC for believing in him and supporting his journey as an athlete.

“Corporates need to step up, support young talent and back them. This is the only way we can create the opportunities required for athletes from the region to reach the international level and compete on bigger platforms.”
